INTRODUCTORY FLIGHT
What if your first flight were the start of a new adventure?
Your first experience as a pilot
Take your seat in the cockpit and discover the thrill of flying alongside an instructor from Belgian Aviation Training.
An initiation flight is much more than just a maiden flight: it’s your first experience at the controls of an aeroplane.
Discover what flying really means
Before take-off, your instructor will show you round the aircraft and explain the main stages of the flight.
Once in the air, you’ll gradually get to grips with the controls and play an active part in flying the aircraft.
In particular, you’ll learn about:
- Flight preparation
- The aeroplane’s controls
- Take-off
- Turning, climbing and descending
- Navigation and orientation
- Approach and landing
What to expect on your flight?

An experience not to be missed
A first-time experience you’ll never forget
Whether you’re an aviation enthusiast, curious to try your hand at flying, or simply looking for a unique experience, the introductory flight is the best way to discover the world of general aviation.
What if you decide to continue?
Your introductory flight can count towards your PPL(A) training if you subsequently decide to continue on the path to a private pilot’s licence, subject to the applicable conditions.
It is therefore an excellent way to discover flying before committing to a full training course.
